As many as 70 volunteers will collect donations in Bolesławiec. They can be met throughout the town and – of course – on the grounds of Concordia, where the final event will take place.

The following performers will appear at the final concert:

  • Engines Of Creation (Bolesławiec). The band was formed in September 2006. The members emphasize that they are mainly interested in having a good time. However, they approach creating music very seriously. Their work is an explosive blend of different styles. They draw inspiration from groups such as Dream Theater, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Planet X, Illusion, Guns N' Roses and Pantera
  • Glinolood Band + Alek Mrożek (Wrocław). A group very well known to Bolesławiec audiences
  • Fari (Leszno). The group has performed with leading Polish and foreign reggae bands, including Bakshish, Daab, Maleo Reggae Rockers, Stage Of Unity, Paprika Korps, Akurat, Habakuk, Orkiestra Na Zdrowie, Indios Bravos, Vavamuffin, Wszystkie Wschody Słońca and Twinkle Brothers. In June 2002, the band won the “Youth Music Festival” in Leszno
  • Joel Beucher (Bolesławiec). A French bard, known for his Thursday performances at Piwnica Paryska
  • The Dreamers – a young rock band from Bolesławiec. Especially for this year's final, they wrote a song serving as the WOŚP volunteers' anthem. They mainly play covers and, as they themselves say, they do it well
  • Luz Blues (Bolesławiec). The band includes members of the well-known 59-700 group

There will also be plenty of other attractions! Visitors will be able to enjoy the excellent café, have a piece of delicious cake or drink some tea. There will also be a raffle. A new feature is a first-aid workshop led by qualified instructor – Paweł Ostrowski.

A county hospital stand will also be set up on the grounds of Concordia. Medical staff will explain what equipment the WOŚP Foundation has purchased for Bolesławiec. Everyone interested will also be able to have a check-up, including having their blood pressure and blood sugar measured.

What's more, a mini photo studio will be set up in Galeria Concordia, where anyone interested will be able to have their picture taken with funny props. Extremely beautiful female volunteers will be taking the photos. There will also be an opportunity to ride in a real rally car.

Shopping frenzy!

As last year, some of the items will also be offered at a special orchestra auction online – on allegro.pl. What can be bought? Items up for auction include a car (Renault 19); portraits of Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and Jurek Owsiak by Krzysztof Łukaszewicz; engine parts from a high-performance Chevrolet Corvette; three adorable tiny kittens; a stay at an exclusive hotel; dinners at Bolesławiec establishments (Piwnica Paryska, Opałkowa Chata, Niebieski Burak); a stay in Bolesławiec including sightseeing, accommodation and meals; pet grooming for a dog or cat at an animal beauty salon; books; celebrities' autographs and much, much more.

The Light to Heaven

The fantastic Bolesławiec fire show group Chimera (semifinalists on the Mam Talent program) will perform, and the event will conclude with a fireworks display.

The final takes place this Sunday, January 10, at Galeria Concordia (Orla Street).
