ZOZ Bolesławiec:
The entire floor in the hospital’s main building was adapted for the Department of Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery. The investment took one year and cost PLN 3.5 million. It was financed entirely from ZOZ’s own funds. The high standard of the 23-bed department is emphasized by modern equipment, comfortable two- and three-person rooms with bathrooms, modern treatment rooms and an aesthetically pleasing, specially designed interior throughout the department.
Kamil Barczyk, Director of ZOZ in Bolesławiec:
What is currently happening in the department, together with the hospital’s further development plans—including the already launched modernization and expansion of the Operating Theatre and the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care on the floor directly below orthopedics—constitutes a well-considered strategy.
He adds:
We want the widest possible access to joint replacement procedures, shorter waiting lists and maximum satisfaction for patients, who will not have to travel to larger medical centers for treatment. As of today, the department in Bolesławiec has taken over the role of such a center.
