On 1 May, Labour Day, a ceremonial oath-taking ceremony was held in the Bolesławiec barracks for 40 volunteers of the fourth intake of preparatory service undergoing training in the regiment. Once again, the ceremony took place without the participation of the families and loved ones of the soldiers taking the oath.

Due to their official functions in the Bolesławiec garrison, the guests present were limited to the chaplain, Lieutenant Maciej Gizicki, and the Deputy Military Recruitment Commandant in Bolesławiec, Major Mieczysław Owczarz.

On 2 May, the Flag Day of the Republic of Poland was observed. At noon that day, in Bolesławiec Market Square, the national white-and-red flag was ceremonially raised with the participation of the 23rd Artillery Regiment's flag party. The Flag Day of the Republic of Poland has been observed since 2004 and aims, among other things, to promote knowledge of Polish identity and national symbols.

The following day, 3 May, the Provincial Observances of the National Day of the Third of May Constitution were held in Legnica. The co-organisers of the ceremony were the Voivode of Lower Silesia, the Mayor of Legnica and the Commander of the Bolesławiec Garrison. Regiment:

The observances began with a Mass for the Homeland at the Legnica Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul, celebrated by Bishop Zbigniew Kiernikowski, the Bishop of Legnica. The subsequent part of the observances featured a Ceremonial Assembly with the participation of the Military Honour Guard from the 23rd Artillery Regiment and the Representative Band of the Land Forces from Wrocław, followed by the laying of a floral wreath beneath the commemorative plaque of Marshal Józef Piłsudski.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, to commemorate the 230th anniversary of the adoption of the 3 May Constitution, the Roll of Remembrance was read and a ceremonial volley was fired. Accompanied by the band, the Representative Song of the Polish Armed Forces and May Dawn were sung.
