Officers from the Kruszyn Police Station, as a result of operational activities, identified and arrested the perpetrator of a burglary at a single-family house under renovation and an outbuilding. The incident took place on the night of April 30 to May 1 in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. District Police Headquarters:
The man stole various items from the two buildings, with a total value of PLN 15,000. The perpetrator took, among other things, bicycles, power tools, bathroom taps, sets of wheels with alloy rims and a meat grinder.
The perpetrator came to the crime scene several times within a short period. First, he broke into the utility area, from which he stole a bicycle. He liked the two-wheeler so much that from then on he used it as a means of transport. Until then. The officers said: “When he set his sights on two sets of wheels with alloy rims, he changed his means of transport to a car.”

While inspecting the area used by the arrested man, officers found items from the burglary on a dog run, under a trailer and covered with rubbish.
All of the stolen property was recovered. The arrested man confessed and gave explanations. He said that he intended to sell the stolen items.
Surprisingly, the 30-year-old robbed the same victim for the second time. After the first offence, he had already been arrested and charged. He could now face between one and as many as ten years in prison.
