In the first half, Adrian Puzio had two good chances to score, but the hosts’ goalkeeper did well to save both a free-kick from near the penalty area and a shot from farther out. Pogoń Świerzawa’s players also tried to attack, but lacked precision and the final pass. The second half began perfectly for BKS. Kamil Skiba played the ball well into the penalty area from the right, where, after a pass from Oskar Pochwała, Jacek Bochnia sent it into the net with a powerful shot. The early goal motivated our players, who quickly began looking for another. Although the hosts created several chances, they clearly ran out of energy; their goalkeeper also suffered an injury, which affected them considerably. In stoppage time, BKS Bolesławiec put the ball in the net, but the referee signaled offside and we had to settle for disappointment. Ultimately, the match ended with the points shared.
