Twelve participants entered the competition. The aim of the competition was both to obtain proposals from participants for a graphic symbol for ZWKiO, serving as a recognisable symbol of the Plant, and to create a better image of ZWKiO among the municipality’s residents.
On 16 April 2021, the competition committee appointed to assess the submitted designs and select the best symbol evaluated the entries in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations, taking into account creativity, colour scheme, originality in presenting the subject and the design’s compliance with the competition theme.
The committee selected the logo proposal submitted by Oliwia Świca as the best. Following graphic adaptation to meet ZWKiO’s needs, the logo will be used for identification, representation and correspondence purposes.
Furthermore, the committee decided to honour three people. They are:
- Aleksandra Dąbrowska,
- Natalia Hucał,
- Jakub Bartoszewski.
