Bolesławiec criminal investigators detained a 26-year-old man from Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. KPP:
In January and February this year, the 26-year-old broke into heavy goods vehicles in Bolesławiec County and stole fuel from their tanks, 350 litres in total.
Officers add:
In March, after bypassing security measures, he stole components worth PLN 4,000 used to unload a tanker.
The detainee confessed and gave an explanation. He was sent straight to prison because he has an 18-month sentence to serve for property offences committed previously.
The young resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality could now face an additional sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
