– Eight passengers – four Polish citizens and four citizens of the United Kingdom who reported for check-in for a flight to London on April 14 did not depart from Wrocław Airport – reports Maj. SG Joanna Konieczniak, press spokesperson for the Nadodrzański Border Guard Unit. – As it turned out during the inspection of their documents, they were required to remain in mandatory quarantine.
She adds:
Pursuant to Article 116 § 1a of the Code of Petty Offences, the foreign nationals and Polish citizens were fined and had to reschedule their trip for another day. In addition, Border Guard officers notified the State Sanitary Inspection of the incident.
And she emphasizes:
Before planning a trip, it is worth checking with the sanitary inspectorate whether our details are included in the register of people who are still required to remain in quarantine. This way, passengers can avoid unnecessary complications.
