Everyone will be able to use the Jelenia Góra point, regardless of their registered address. The point has been open since Friday, 9 April, at 12 Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie Street. It will operate:

  • Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.;
  • on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Kamil Barczyk, director of ZOZ in Bolesławiec:

We are opening a new point so that patients can be tested quickly, without waiting in queues, and receive the result electronically within 24 hours. This system works very well in Bolesławiec. Demand is enormous. Many patients travel to Bolesławiec from distant towns.

He adds:

Increasing access to swab collection points is enormously important for public health. The person tested will learn the result quickly. If a COVID-19 infection is confirmed, the key issue is to diagnose it quickly and separate the sick person from the healthy part of the population.

ZOZ: “Opening a swab collection point in Jelenia Góra will significantly improve the service experience for people planning to travel abroad in the near future who urgently need a current test result.”
