Some journalists from local newspapers suggested that after the merger of the Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych and Zespół Szkół Budowlanych, there would be no room for the Voluntary Labour Corps, which was located in the latter institution. “That is not true,” says Deputy County Head Cezary Przybylski.
It is true that a plan to modernise the county’s school network will be developed soon. The plan will probably include expanding the existing Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych and moving the construction school there. This is a necessary step because several classes disappear each year.
The county authorities assure that there will always be a place for young people in the Voluntary Labour Corps in Bolesławiec County.
