The tragedy occurred on Saturday, December 19, on Żwirki i Wigury Street in Bolesławiec. The woman's husband found her unconscious and suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning at home. She was lying in the bathtub. He immediately called for help. Unfortunately, resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.
The carbon monoxide level in the apartment exceeded the permissible level 15-fold.
