The fire broke out on Tuesday, March 30, in the afternoon. Grass was burning in the wasteland between Wierzbowa and Gromadka.
Several volunteer fire service units were sent to the scene. There was a risk that the fire in the wasteland would also spread to the nearby forest. Fortunately, the firefighters prevented this.
