The long-awaited repair of the pavement on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec has begun, as the same Reader who reported the matter to us in early spring informed us. This is what the pavement in question looked like at the time:

Let us remind you. At the end of March, a Reader wrote to us:

Every day I walk along a bumpy road; as you can see in the photos, this is Zgorzelecka Street. I had a stroke and now I have exercises—to go shopping or for walks. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic every day.

And he added:

Does the municipality or the city not have the money, or are they simply not interested in the issue of pedestrians?

We asked the Bolesławiec municipal authorities for comment. We were told that the repair would begin at the start of May.
