Police officers from Kruszyn detained a 21-year-old resident of Bolesławiec suspected of stealing a catalytic converter and causing losses of approximately PLN 1,000.
KPP Bolesławiec:
The perpetrator cut the catalytic converter out of a passenger car used by a person with whom he is in conflict.
The suspect wanted to sell the loot but did not get the chance. Why? He hid the catalytic converter in… the victim’s garage, and the latter found their property.
The 21-year-old confessed to the crime. He now faces up to five years in prison.
