On March 13, at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec, BKS’s young players began their Lower Silesian Junior League campaign. Their opponents were Polonia-Stal Świdnica. The match ended in a 1–1 draw (1–1).

Despite the average weather conditions, both teams put on an interesting spectacle that remained uncertain until the final minutes. BKS Bolesławiec dominated for practically the entire match, and the reward for our players’ better performance was a goal in the 32nd minute by Jakub Czarnecki. Unfortunately, we were unable to hold the lead until halftime, as the score became 1–1 in the 41st minute.

The second half featured an exchange of attacks from both sides. In the 62nd minute, the post saved us from conceding after a powerful shot from outside the penalty area. A moment later, Mateusz Medyński had a good chance to change the score. In the 85th minute, we should have scored the winning goal, but Michał Kulbida missed from close range.

Ultimately, the match ended with the points shared. We can be pleased with our players’ performance in their first match of the spring. Let us hope that they will perform just as well in their next matches as they did on Saturday.
