LPR helicopter landed in Nowogrodziec, Chrobry training interrupted

The incident took place on Friday, 12 March. Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec:

[…] after 6:30 p.m., we were dispatched to secure a landing site for an air ambulance helicopter from Wrocław. The site designated as an after-dark landing area in our municipality is the auxiliary pitch in Nowogrodziec on Łużycka Street (the so-called municipal site).

And they report:

Upon arriving at the site, we had to urgently interrupt the football training session of the Chrobry Nowogrodziec team. We then checked the pitch for unwanted objects that could be lifted into the air by the landing helicopter and damage the aircraft.

The area was illuminated by stadium floodlights, which improved safety and made our work easier.

And they add:

The emergency medical team arrived at the site and handed the injured person over to the LPR crew. The helicopter took off safely and departed.
