On Monday evening, firefighters from PSP Bolesławiec were dispatched to an unusual operation. A mercury thermometer for measuring body temperature was broken in one of the apartments in a block of flats on Małachowskiego Street in Bolesławiec.
The firefighters collected the spilled mercury in a glass container and sealed it tightly. The substance will be disposed of.
