A 48-year-old BMW driver evaded police for more than 80 kilometers. The man failed to stop for a traffic check in Bolesławiec. At one point, the chase moved onto the A4 motorway, and patrols from other counties joined the operation.
The driver, who at times sped at up to 200 km/h, was stopped—thanks to a roadblock—near the Kostomłoty interchange in Wrocław.
The 48-year-old will now answer for his actions before the court. Failing to stop for a traffic check alone may result in a sentence of between three months and as much as five years in prison.
