The program will be conducted during the first three years of education at a given type of school and will involve preparing the process for awarding subsidies to co-finance ongoing tasks: equipping the IT laboratory and providing funds for salaries for academic teachers who teach additional subjects.

The main aim of the program is to educate potential candidates for the professional and scientific personnel corps of the Polish Armed Forces, particularly for the newly established Cyberspace Defense Forces. The ministry hopes that, for most graduates of the newly created specialist classes, specialized education at the upper-secondary level will be an introduction to prestigious positions in units subordinate to the Ministry of National Defence.

Sixteen schools from across Poland, one from each voivodeship, have qualified to participate in the project. The number of students in each class will be limited—between 10 and 15. The curriculum will cover subject areas such as the basics of cryptography, the history of cryptography, the basics of algorithmics, the basics of cybersecurity, and data and information security management.

Studying in such a class will enable students to acquire knowledge and skills in contemporary digital threats, cybersecurity risk management, information systems security, and the cryptographic aspects of data protection.
