I am sitting in the communications department. It is not possible to use the toilet because it is forbidden. Is this legal? I am sitting with people in the vestibule, while a man stands by the door and directs traffic. A man wanted to use the toilet and asked a security guard, but was informed that the toilets were closed because it was forbidden and that when the guard let someone in yesterday, he—quoting him—"got chewed out." I told the security guard that this was inhumane because these are our basic needs. And the man who wanted to use it was diabetic. Later, I asked about this ban in the department, and a woman replied that it was the county head's decision. People wait here for two hours; I waited that long to take care of my business.
We are waiting for a comment from the Bolesławiec County Office.
Update 2021-02-08
In response to your inquiry, we inform you that the decision to restrict visitors' access to toilets in the County Office buildings was dictated by sanitary and safety considerations. This is due to the declared epidemic and the restrictions in force in connection with it. Given the limited ability to move around the County Office building, a toilet is made available each time to Office clients who report such a need.
