On Wednesday (January 27), Piotr Borys, a Member of the Polish Sejm from the Civic Coalition, visited Bolesławiec. The politician held office hours at his office on Kaszubska Street and organized a short press conference. During it, he discussed what he considers to be the two greatest threats to Bolesławiec and the region in the near future.
The first threat is clearly the risk of Lower Silesia losing PLN 6 billion from the European Union cohesion fund in the 2021–2027 budget perspective. The second problem is related to vaccinations and the insufficient quantity of coronavirus vaccines. What does Piotr Borys advise, and what does he appeal for? Who will be affected most by Lower Silesia losing PLN 6 billion? You will find the answers in the video material below.
