The incident occurred on Sunday, 29 November, in the Nowogrodziec municipality. The 30-year-old burglar broke a basement window and entered the apartment of an 80-year-old man. Once inside, he found a bottle of alcohol on the table. He drank it and then fell asleep on the floor.
The apartment’s owner found him in that state (around 2:00 p.m.) and immediately notified the police. The 30-year-old resident of the Nowogrodziec municipality was arrested. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
