– Officers of the Lower Silesian National Revenue Administration (KAS), the Nadodrzański Border Guard Unit and the Central Police Investigation Bureau (CBŚP) discovered and secured 1.6 tonnes of dried tobacco without Polish excise duty stamps – reports Agnieszka Rzeźnicka-Gniadek, spokesperson for the Lower Silesian KAS.
She adds:
The seized goods, worth more than PLN 800,000, were discovered by the officers at a property in the Karkonosze region. The tobacco was hidden in two delivery vans parked on the property.
Further proceedings in this case will be conducted by the Jelenia Góra Branch of the Lower Silesian Customs and Tax Office.
