Preparations for the 18th finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity are gathering pace. Via Sudetica invites everyone to the second organisational meeting, which will take place on Sunday, 29 November, at 13:00 at Galeria Concordia.

Your presence is very important! If, for any reason, you cannot attend but would like to take part in organising the Finale, make sure someone provides the organisers with the necessary information (referred to below) and passes on all the information from the meeting.

For the Bolesławiec Finale to take place fully in accordance with the law, the WOŚP headquarters must create a small file. Volunteers will be asked to provide the following information and documents:

  • first and last name
  • residential address
  • date of birth
  • parents’ telephone number
  • PESEL number
  • three ID-format photographs (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
  • if the volunteer will not be an adult on the day of the Finale but wants to collect donations – additionally, a consent form for collecting donations completed by the parents
  • if the volunteer will be under 16 on the day of the Finale – additionally, a guardian designation form completed by the parents
  • if the volunteer has not completed lower secondary school – a consent form for helping with the organisation completed by the parents
  • consent to participate in the Finale and the processing of personal data, signed by the volunteer (and, where applicable, by the parents)

All forms will soon appear on www.wosp.boleslawiec.pl. Underage volunteers must print them out themselves, while leaving the completion of the forms to their parents. The consent to participate in the Finale and the processing of personal data must be signed legibly by the volunteer, and if they are under 16, their parents must sign it as well.

Via Sudetica also invites the volunteers’ parents to the meeting. “It is very important to us that your parents know why you are disappearing from home for two days (with only a brief visit to sleep), what you will be doing and where, whom you will be working with, and that they can trust us. If your parents are hesitant about agreeing to your participation in the Orchestra, all the more reason to bring them along; we will try to dispel their doubts. Besides, parents can also help with the Finale!” write the organisers of the Bolesławiec WOŚP Finale.
