The Film Discussion Club operating at BOK invites all cinema enthusiasts to a screening of Wim Wenders’ film “The Palermo Shooting”. The film tells the story of an acclaimed photographer who works for the biggest fashion houses. Famous models pose in front of his camera (Milla Jovovich, known among other things for “The Fifth Element”, appears in the film).
The photographer’s life is intense, and he himself is surrounded by luxuries. In Palermo, where he arrives for a photo shoot, he will encounter two powerful forces: love and death.
As always, Wenders ensured that his film featured excellent cinematography and a great musical score. Alongside tracks by Portishead, Beirut and Nick Cave, the soundtrack also includes Bonnie “Prince” Billy’s song “Death to Everyone”, which perfectly characterizes the entire film.
Monday, Forum cinema, 7:00 p.m.. We invite you.
