The controller is designed to operate in two modes: day/night and manual. Day/night mode is a highly economical solution that helps reduce heating costs. The user only needs to specify the time at which the system switches between day and night modes, as well as the preferred temperature settings. Setting lower values in night mode automatically reduces heating bills. The user can also edit the temperature directly at any time by using manual mode.

The controller’s cooperation with other devices

The ST-299 room thermostat offers a wide range of possibilities. It is compatible with heating devices, underfloor heating strips and installation controllers. It also has an input for a floor sensor, allowing it to expand its capabilities by controlling the temperature in accordance with the floor temperature.

The device is available in two versions: wired (v3) and wireless (v2), and is powered by two 1.5 V AAA batteries. Like other room thermostats from TECH Sterowniki, it is very easy to install as a surface-mounted device. It is equipped with a voltage contact for a heating device or installation controller.

The ST-299 controller was designed in accordance with the latest trends in electronic devices. It is compact, measuring just 84 × 84 × 25 mm, while featuring a highly legible display with temporary backlighting, allowing users to conveniently read the temperature measurement at any time, even after dark. Its universal color scheme—with a choice of white or black (negative display)—fits well in rooms with different designs and wall colors. The device is equipped with touch buttons that enable quick editing with just one touch.
