Officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters detained suspects in a garage burglary. (The perpetrators got inside by chiseling a hole through the wall.) The officers also recovered the stolen property.
Asp. szt. Monika Kaleta from the Lower Silesian Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław:
In the garage once rented by one of the perpetrators, the burglars made a hole in the wall and entered the adjoining room. While searching the suspects’ places of residence and the vehicle they used, police officers secured various items originating from the crime, including a guitar and ski boots, skis, fishing equipment, speakers and a microphone.
She adds:
The perpetrators did not have time to take some of their loot from the garage, where they had chiseled a hole into the victim’s premises.
The officers recovered items worth more than PLN 4,000. The detainees—aged 25 and 27—are residents of Bolesławiec County. They now face between one and ten years in prison.
