During the November session of the Bolesławiec City Council, the President of Bolesławiec remarked sarcastically that there was considerable interest in the Wiadukt Plaza area. He added that on November 16, the director of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre informed him that, while cleaning the site in question, they had collected... 150 vodka bottles, 280 beer bottles and 102 cans.
That amount of rubbish appeared at Wiadukt Plaza within approximately two days. Acts of vandalism also occurred.
How did this happen?
The area by the viaduct has become a popular spot for various kinds of private celebrations: birthdays, name days and so on. The police even received a report that a birthday party for one hundred people was supposed to take place at Wiadukt Plaza.
The result? The site will be fenced off. It will be closed at night and monitored. We will certainly return to this subject.
