The campaign is organised by the “Pro Salute” association to support therapy for children with muscular dystrophy under the care of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinic of the Medical University of Białystok.
“This year, we want to help beat the record for the length of the chain set in 2010, which was 11 km, 119 m and 57 cm,” informs Jolanta Mienculewicz, director of MPP No. 4.
She adds:
The children’s entire families became involved in the campaign. The campaign was preceded by activities devoted to the subject and to selfless help for other children. On November 23, our chain measured 480 m and 85 cm.
The campaign ends on December 10, and we are eagerly awaiting the “final” metres of our chain.
