Bolesławiec criminal investigators, during nighttime operations in the Gromadka commune, noticed a passenger car in a place where trucks are parked at night. It belonged to... a fuel thief known to them.

Further actions resulted in the man being detained red-handed. The resident of Bolesławiec commune had containers and a rubber hose prepared.
What is more, it emerged that this was the second such crime that night. Earlier, the 39-year-old had managed to steal 150 litres of diesel fuel from another vehicle.
The suspect was detained and heard two charges. He could now face a sentence of between three months and as many as five years in prison.
