There are two positive COVID-19 test results at the Bolesławiec Social Welfare Home. They concern two women: a resident and an employee. The latter had direct contact with four members of the Social Welfare Home staff. All four have been placed in home isolation.
As reported to the istotne.pl service by Bogusław Szeffs, the head of the facility, for now the Social Welfare Home does not need to seek outside assistance.
The director assures that there are currently no symptoms indicating that the virus is spreading among the residents or staff. (Three Social Welfare Home employees have already recovered).
The infected resident is in serious condition. She has been in isolation for about two weeks.
As B. Szeffs emphasizes, until now the staff of the Social Welfare Home had managed to protect the residents from the virus. This is the first case of this kind among the facility's residents.
