Three volunteer fire service units received funding totalling almost PLN 60,000:
- Volunteer Fire Service unit in Warta Bolesławiecka – PLN 20,000.00
- Volunteer Fire Service unit in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki – PLN 19,947.38
- Volunteer Fire Service unit in Raciborowice – PLN 19,999.00.
Municipal authorities:
The required financial contribution towards the implementation of the project was also secured by Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, in the total amount of PLN 25,700.00 (30% of the project costs).

The aim of the programme is to improve the operational readiness of local rescue services by equipping volunteer fire service units with the equipment necessary to prevent and eliminate the effects of natural disasters, extreme weather events or technical failures whose consequences threaten people's lives or health, property or the natural environment.
As part of the funding, the units purchased equipment, supplies and personal protective equipment for conducting rescue operations and removing the effects of hazards, including a petrol-powered backpack sprayer, hydraulic rescue equipment, breathing apparatus cylinders, delivery hoses, special gloves, balaclavas, protective clothing, firefighter helmets and station uniforms, with a total value of PLN 85,646.38.
