In the 13th-round match of the Jelenia Góra district league, BKS defeated local side Piast 3–2 (2–0) in Wykroty.

Saturday’s match had two distinct halves. BKS were clearly the better side in the first half, taking the lead as early as the first minute through Kamil Posadowski. The visitors enjoyed the advantage and created more chances, although it is also worth noting a situation in which Adam Turko hit the post of Jakub Walczak’s goal. Towards the end of the first half, BKS delivered a second effective blow. This time, Jacek Bochnia found the net.

After the break, the hosts came into their own. Paweł Urbaniak provided the signal by scoring a goal for Piast. From that moment, Piast gained the upper hand. The Bolesławiec side defended access to their goal, but this did not stop Dominik Szydlarski, who equalised towards the end of the match. In the closing stages, the hosts could have tipped the scales in their favour, but they were unable to finish their chances effectively.

In added time, amid confusion in Piast’s penalty area, the ball struck the hand of one of the home players. At the moment this happened, the player was lying on the pitch. The referee deemed it a foul and awarded BKS a penalty. Adrian Puzio converted it successfully, setting the final score at 3–2 to BKS.
