Marta Wołoszyn is a fourth-year student at ZHiU, specializing in photography and multimedia technology. As she writes about herself: Photography has been part of my life since childhood, and it is with photography that I want to build my future. I love taking portraits and photo essays because I always try to capture the emotions and mood accompanying a given shot.
Marta’s photographs are in black and white, and the author of the report focused on the slogans carried by the protesters. This allows us to read and watch the protest in Bolesławiec. The banners, posters and placards carried by protesters through the streets of Bolesławiec against tightening abortion law and in support of human rights make it clear that #we'vehad_enough and #thisiswar. One of the most moving slogans reads: Where are you, defenders of life, when another child jumps under a train? View Marta Wołoszyn’s work and visit her Instagram: portfoliomaraw.
