Dear Sirs,

Due to the difficult circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic, this year's gala awarding scholarships and prizes from the Bolesławiec County Head will not take place in its traditional form.

The award winners and scholarship recipients—as we emphasized in the direct notifications—will receive their financial awards in individual accounts by the end of October 2020. From October 30, it will be possible to collect the awards (statuettes designed by Mateusz Grobelny) and certificates directly at schools. This also applies to graduates. At the same time, we wish to honor the best students by creating a short, media presentation of thanks, which will appear shortly on our websites.

Congratulations to all beneficiaries, and we wish you continued success.

Dear graduates and scholarship recipients!

“It always seems impossible until it is done.”
Nelson Mandela

Every day, you faced seemingly impossible challenges, possessing an extraordinary potential for ambition, passion, and dreams. I would like the determination to pursue your goals that you nurture within yourselves never to leave you at any stage of life, as you experience each day the astonishing and impossible things that fill the world. And may the sensitivity with which you have been endowed help you understand the complex processes taking place in society. In these difficult times of the pandemic, I regret that I cannot say these words to you directly, but I hope that the satisfaction of your own achievements will allow you, even for a moment, to forget about the challenging reality. Remember, a great deal depends on YOU! I trust that you will use your creativity, enthusiasm for work, and the sensitivity mentioned above to make Earth a better place.
