At the end of October, we published data on our portal’s audience. The following day, Bolec.Info published a report modeled on ours. It provided higher figures, but after analyzing the charts, it seemed to us that the data was inaccurate. We decided to verify the numbers. At the end of October, employees of the IstotneInformacje.pl portal contacted Marcin Marczewski several times.
At first, Marcin Marczewski kept putting us off, promising a meeting on the third, then the seventh or eighth of November. Finally, when we called him today to remind him of the agreement, he said he would not meet and would not show anything. “We don’t have to undergo verification. I don’t have time for meetings like that,” an upset Marcin Marczewski said. When we pointed out that we did not have to meet and could simply share the data online, Marczewski fell silent and then replied that he did not intend to do so.
Let us recall that a similar situation involving audience data occurred a year ago. At that time, Bolec also did not allow readers to verify its data, even though we provided full access to the statistics.
We leave the situation for readers to assess.
