Recently, a new sign appeared above the cycle path running alongside the bypass, near the intersection with Modłowa Street (in Bolesławiec). Everything would be fine if not for the fact that the sign has been installed exceptionally low. Just look at the attached photo and compare the clearance beneath the sign with the height of the railing. A taller cyclist riding upright could hit their head on the sign. Personally, I have to duck to pass safely.

And adds:

I deliberately stopped beneath the sign and “sized myself up” against it. Standing upright, I would have hit my head. There is no need to explain that at a higher speed, such an impact could end tragically.

Magdalena Szumiata, spokesperson for the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways:

Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. The sign was indeed installed too low. We will address the matter, and it will be corrected in the near future.
