Deputy Minister Waldemar Kraska announced that from next week the criteria for classifying cities and counties into the red and yellow zones would be tightened. As reported by the onet.pl portal:
- The modification will mainly concern the reference value of the three-day corrective indicator, for which the current reference value is 1.5, Kraska stated.
- For counties with a population density above 1,500 people per square kilometre, a category change from red to yellow or from yellow to green will take place if the number of infections per 10,000 residents over the last three days is below 1, while for counties with a population density below 1,500 people per square kilometre, the figure will be 1.2, the deputy head of the Ministry of Health said.
Meanwhile, from mid-October, new limits will be introduced on the number of people who may participate in weddings and other family gatherings and events:
- In the red zone, the limit of 50 people will remain in place,
- In the yellow zone, the number of people will be limited to 70,
- In the green zone, the limit will be 100 people.
Additionally, in the red zone, restaurants, bars and pubs will be allowed to remain open until 10:00 p.m. Covering the mouth and nose outdoors will be required not only in red zones, but also in yellow zones. More on the onet.pl
