The incident took place on the night of September 25–26. A Reader wrote to us via Facebook:
They beat up a guy and drove him to the forest in a BMW, Raciborowice.
Another Reader in turn informed us that the injured man was allegedly a habitual car thief. (The police do not confirm this information).
Official information from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters: four men have been charged. They will be held responsible for beating a 42-year-old man and unlawfully depriving him of his liberty. The beaten man was taken to hospital, but he did not suffer any more serious injuries. The suspects could face between three months and as much as five years in prison.
