“Honorary Blood Donor – Meritorious for the Health of the Nation” decorations are awarded by the Ministry of Health to donors who have donated at least 20 liters of blood or an equivalent amount of its components.
Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman presented this prestigious decoration to five blood donors: Leszek Gudzowski, Waldemar Tomczak, Albin Kazimierz Gaudyn, Kazimierz Strzemieczny (his wife accepted the decoration) and Zbigniew Potaś.
During the ceremony, Mayor Piotr Roman expressed his gratitude and respect for Honorary Blood Donors for their contribution to helping others and saving lives. Roman Bodak, president of the Municipal HDK–PCK Club, Roman Bodak warmly thanked them for their exemplary attitude and for promoting the noble idea of honorary blood donation.
