On Wednesday at around 6:15 p.m., a man was spotted walking along the tracks. He appeared to be having a great time in a place where one can lose their life or health. The man was holding a guitar. He remained on the tracks for several dozen minutes. In the meantime, a freight train passed over the viaduct. The man can be seen in the video.
From time to time, drunk men enter the viaduct. Some threaten to jump off it. Once every two or three weeks, police officers detain intoxicated people who enter the Bolesławiec viaduct. At the beginning of July, officers detained a man who was standing on the viaduct and threatening to jump. A week earlier, they escorted another man away after he had been wandering around the structure.
During the last two operations, there was no need to deploy an airbag rescue cushion because the police officers reacted quickly and escorted the drunk men off the viaduct. Let us remind you that entering this structure is prohibited. It is PKP property. Entry is punishable by a fine.
