The Mayor of Nowogrodziec Robert Relich signed agreements under which Nowogrodziec gmina will provide earmarked grants to co-finance the purchase of firefighting equipment, personal protective equipment, firefighting uniforms and firefighting footwear for Volunteer Fire Service units.

The beneficiaries of the funding, with a total value of PLN 19,400, will be OSP Nowogrodziec, OSP Czerna and OSP Gierałtów. The funds [...] will constitute the OSP units’ contribution to agreements with the Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

Earlier, in July this year, OSP Nowogrodziec, OSP Czerna, OSP Gierałtów and OSP Nowogrodziec Osiedle received earmarked support totalling over PLN 2,900, also as the OSP units’ contribution to grant agreements with the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and the National Rescue and Firefighting System, under which fire stations will be renovated and personal protective equipment, equipment and supplies will be purchased.
