Saturday’s match was poor on our part, but we should have brought at least a point back from such a difficult venue. Both starting elevens played disjointed football, and there were very few scoring opportunities in the first half. The only noteworthy chance was a header by Oskar Pochwała, but the ball was gathered by the home goalkeeper. Olimpia Kowary were also unable to create much danger, and the score was 0–0 at halftime.

The picture of the game changed little after the break, with the sole difference being that the home team scored. In the 68th minute Kacper Kloczkowski launched a counterattack and chipped Jakub Walczak, who was guarding our goal. BKS Bolesławiec’s attempt to recover from the deficit looked like the proverbial attempt to bang one’s head against a brick wall. In the end, we lost to Olimpia 0–1. Our team’s next match will be played at Spółdzielcza against Iskra Łagów.

BKS: Walczak, Dul, Bochnia (yellow card), Kowalonek, Kuczyński (78′ Dmuchowski), Olesiński, Posadowski (69′ Gudzowski), Puzio (20′ Szaja), Zagórski, Pochwała (46′ Kulesza), Majka

The defeat in Łomnica was also BKS’s first loss after a run of five consecutive victories in the Jelenia Góra district league.
