The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 15, in the afternoon. Police received a report of a theft at one of the stores in Gryfów Śląski. Before the police arrived, the perpetrators fled the scene.

Officers:

According to surveillance footage, the perpetrators were a woman and a man who carried away, among other things, 10 bottles of whisky.

That was not the end of the matter. At around 11 p.m., police were called to a domestic quarrel in one of the apartments in Gryfów Śląski. Officers:

Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that the woman and man, who were heavily intoxicated, could not reach an agreement. Moreover, during the intervention, police discovered 10 one-litre bottles of whisky in the apartment, which had probably been stolen several hours earlier, as well as other items that might also have come from criminal acts (two screwdrivers and new sports shoes).

The drunken troublemakers (a 41-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man) were detained and placed in police custody. They could face a sentence of between three months and as many as five years in prison.
