Director of GP in Gromadka Wioletta Pieniążek:
On 31 August 2020, the director of Gminne Przedszkole w Gromadce received information from the parent of a child attending our facility that the parent had received a confirmed positive COVID-19 test result. The parent also informed us that their child had been tested and that they were awaiting the test result. The preschool director notified the relevant institutions, namely the sanitary inspectorate, the governing body and the supervisory body.
The head of the facility adds:
On 1 September 2020, we received information and a scan of the child’s positive test result. A request was then submitted to the Państwowa Powiatowa Stacja Sanitarno-Epidemiologiczna w Bolesławcu for an opinion on the possibility of closing the facility and switching to remote learning. After receiving the opinion of the PPSSE in Bolesławiec, the preschool’s governing body issued a decision to close the preschool and switch to remote learning until 11 September 2020.
