Under the monuments in Bolesławiec, people paid tribute to those who fought in defense of our Homeland. The official ceremony, attended by Bolesławiec County Starosta Tomasz Gabrysiak, Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Iwona Mandżuk-Dudek, and Lieutenant Colonel Marek Wasielewski, commander of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, took place at the monument commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Restoration of Independence.

As we read on the Facebook profile of Hufiec ZHP im. Szarych Szeregów w Bolesławcu:

Our scouts were also there, standing guard together with soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment.

Stay vigilant!

Meanwhile, at the monument to the Soldiers of the Second Polish Army in Bolesławiec (Second Polish Army Square, General Nil Street), flowers were laid by representatives of the Bolesławiec branch of the Polish Army Veterans Association, who emphasized that remembering these events is absolutely essential:

Whatever else may be said, such history must not be forgotten.
