The incident occurred on Thursday, August 20, in the late afternoon. Two vehicles—a Rover passenger car and a Toyota van—collided head-on on provincial road No. 297 near the village of Suszki (Bolesławiec municipality).
It is already known that the 22-year-old Rover driver performed an overtaking maneuver incorrectly. The Toyota driver was injured and taken to hospital. Fortunately, he did not suffer anything more serious. (The incident was classified as a collision).
Both drivers are residents of Bolesławiec. The case will probably end up in court.
