As reported by defence24.pl, the contents of the agreement between the government of the Republic of Poland and the government of the United States of America on enhanced defense cooperation have been disclosed, along with details of the deployment of US Army soldiers in Poland. Under the agreement, it is the Poles who are to prepare the infrastructure for their allies from across the ocean.
What is to be built in Bolesławiec County?

New infrastructure is to be established at the training area in Żagań, along with military complexes in Toruń and Skwierzyna, which are to become bases for the US armed forces’ Armored Brigade Combat Team. As part of these investments, a military stationing facility with capacity for up to 4,800 people is to be built in Świętoszów, Trzebień and Pstrąże (barracks and mess halls).
The portal adds:
The railway line in Świętoszów is also to be extended (three turnouts and one siding track), and a railway siding, a fuel storage facility with a capacity of 3.8 million liters, and a fuel distribution facility with a fuel supply system with a capacity of 3 million liters are also to be built. In addition, training barracks and a mess facility with capacity for 430 people are to be built in Toruń.
