This year’s festival program is packed with intimate concerts: among others, Kamil Bakalarczyk and his band will perform Roxette hits, while the Patrycjusz Gruszecki Quartet and GaDMu Trio will play jazz concerts. There will be no large stage. Concert enthusiasts are invited by the organizers to Piłsudskiego Square. Naturally, the main attraction will be the ceramics fair; this year, the stalls are set up on Prusa Street and in the market square, while the antiques market has been moved to the school sports field at 10 Bankowa Street.

Piotr Roman:

We decided to hold the ceramic festival together with the ceramic manufacturers.

Around 20 manufacturers attended the meeting.

Ceramics drive our economy.

The economic aspect is fundamental. It is our duty to ensure all safety requirements are met.

We must learn to live during this time and continue developing. Does that mean we have to shut ourselves away at home and stop working?

We will appeal to people and ask them to observe safety measures.

There will be masks, disinfectants and designated traffic directions.

This year there will be no major concerts, parade or amusement park.

We have 70% of last year’s exhibitors.

The gaps between the stalls are larger, and the stalls are spread over a larger area.

Stalls selling original Bolesławiec ceramics will be marked with a special coat of arms.

Exhibitors are required to follow sanitary rules at their stalls.

We observe and use the experience of other cities.

I will be inviting people to buy ceramics.

While abroad, I realized that ceramics are a source of pride for Poland.

This year Roksana Węgiel, Kwiat Jabłoni and Mrozu were scheduled to perform. We are in contact with the stars. Unfortunately, we could not have predicted the coronavirus.

For us, safety is the most important thing today.

Under the current circumstances, the ceramic festival is a challenge for manufacturers.

Glina Show is a wonderful initiative. I can see how it has grown. It is a great idea.

The American soldiers who come to Bolesławiec bring long lists of ceramics to buy with them.

It is time to begin the 26th Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. I warmly invite you and appeal to you to observe safety measures and use common sense.
