On Monday, October 12, an Orlik sports complex was opened in Warta Bolesławiecka. The investment cost more than PLN 1 million. Among those who cut the ribbon was Mirosław Haniszewski, head of Warta Bolesławiecka. “We are very happy about the opening of the Orlik. It is the first sports facility with an artificial surface in our commune. We are already thinking about building more multifunctional sports fields,” Haniszewski told IstotneInformacje.pl. “Some people accuse us of not being interested in children. In my opinion, the construction of the Orlik shows that children are most important to us and that we are trying to take the best possible care of their development.
In terms of the number of Orliks opened, Lower Silesia is the second voivodeship in the country.
